Default My Daith Piercing Hole has split?

I was cleaning my daith today and all of a sudden the earring fell out. I put it down to maybe the ball had unscrewed somehow but I checked my ear and the piercing hole has split! Its not sore at all just a bit red and you can only tell its split when you touch it. Now it won't hold any jewellery :( will the skin heal quick enough before the hole closes completely or should I just give it up?

Oh dear....I feel gutted for you.
It sounds like it's rejected and worked it's way out. I think you should maybe go see a really good piercer (preferably UKAPP registered) for advice. I doubt anyone here could advise differently without seeing a pic to see what's happened. It will be dependant on your anatomy and any damage as to whether a repierce is possible.
    Fingers crossed for you.

Sorry, to hear this Shadow. I bet you wondered what on earth was going on. I would advise what TikiMan has said to go and see a piercer - they will know what is best for you. Please let us know how you get on!
