Thread: New piercing after rejection

    Default New piercing after rejection

Is there a period of time that I should wait to get a new piercing in the same ear as a piercing that has been rejected? My right rook is rejecting the jewelry. Id love to get my tragus done on the same ear. Should I wait several months or does it matter?

    Thanks!!

Personally I only try to heal 2 piercings at a time and have never had a problem. Some people manage more. As cartilage piercings take a long time to heal I think it should be fine to try the tragus but give your body a couple of months rest after before any more to allow your body to recover from the rejected rook and new tragus.
It is down to your own body though as everyone is different.
Make sure you are pierced by a good piercer using high quality mirror finished titanium jewellery to minimise irritation.
