Nose ring clamped shut

Hi everyone, I have a huge problem with my nose ring. I had it pierced in Greece as a drunken mistake (stupid I know!) It was pierced with a hoop which I now know shouldn’t have been done, but not only that the metal was clamped shut with pliers so it’s impossible for me to get it out. I’ve tried so hard to bend the metal myself but it’s not budging, does anyone have any advice please?? The piercing itself had been ok I still have some pain with it.

Hi Bekki26,
Get down to a good piercer (preferably UKAPP or APP registered) and have them take a look, advise and fit you with a quality, suitable titanium piece of jewellery.

They will likely use a small pair of opening pliers to ease it open. Quick easy procedure for a pro. You can heal with a hoop but it may take longer. Micro labrets are common as studs and imo probably the easiest to maintain and wear but a nose screw is often used as initial jewellery. A good piercer will be able to order quality biocompatible jewellery if they don't stock what you like and then they can fit you out in a sterile environment.

They have their ways. I have had a few posts that I could not remove and I said to my piercer "you are never going to be able to get them out" and I don't know how but my piercer still manages it.
