Thread: Measuring length for a curved barbell in PA

Default Measuring length for a curved barbell in PA

Iíve had a Ball capture ring (BCR) in my PA piercing since I started. Over time Iíve stretched from 2.4mm to 5mm and like that size. Iíd now like to try a curved barbell in my PA, but Iím unsure about what length to buy? Iíve kept to a 19mm diameter BCR if that helps at all?
Any advice would be most welcome.
Current Piercings: 5mm BCR Prince Albert
Ball Stretching Weights: 250 gram ring

You could ask your piercer for advice. If doing it yourself then I would say that you'd likely be best to measure from the fistula to the tip of the urethra in a straight line whilst erect and then add 4mm so if you measure say 12mm then try a 16mm bar. I'd also go for minimum 10mm balls but that's personal preference.
The extra mm just help prevent pinching imo but some guys like that extra snug feeling so you may need to experiment a little to see what suits your anatomy.
Let us know how you get on.

Thanks TikiMan. I’ll give that a try and good advice on the larger ball ends, don’t want it trying to disappear the whole time. I’ll report back when I’ve explored the options.
Just checked out your pictures on your profile, fantastic designs on your sleeve tattoos. Were they your designs or your tattoo artist? I’ve not worked up the nerve to get a tattoo yet, I was bad enough summoning up the courage to get pierced.

Thanks Pwb72 for your comments on the tatts. I've added you as a contact so you should be able to see a whole load more. Some were designed by me, some were sketched up by my artist and some were done completely freehand in collaboration and developed as progressed. Takes many hours of needlework to develop that kind of trust lol ...

    Back on topic ...
Yes....do let us know how you get on when you change your jewellery around.
I don't know whether you wear steel or titanium but also bear in mind that two balls will increase the weight more if the jewellery is steel. Titanium is lighter and will be more comfy until the fistula adapts and gets used to it.
    Good luck fella
