Are you getting any other problems with the piercing like crusties, lymph or pain?.
It doesn't look pinched to me so I would think that the bar length is fine. If it is surgical steel then it needs to be changed to implant grade titanium as mentioned earlier. Another possibility is the type of bar. Depending on anatomy a piercer may use a straight or curved bar. May be a second opinion from a APP or UKAPP (depending on your location) would be useful. I do know somebody who didn't get on with metalwork through the bridge so they used a PTFE flexible bar with titanium pushfit balls on the ends which meant it was super lightweight and biocompatible. I don't know whether this is advisable but it may be an avenue worth exploring further.
Hopefully you may get some further responses from people with more experience with this piercing.

I couldn't see a photograph but when my piercings become troublesome my piercer ends up putting Bio-flex plastic in them.
Left side - Ear Lobes 1,2,3 Daith, Helix, Rook, Lower Conch and Double Tragus (sadly the bottom one has migrated).

Right side -Ear Lobes 1,2,3 Daith, "Paw" print piercing on the flat of my ear, Tragus, Nostril, Helix and Eyebrow. "Shen Men" piercing, Triple Forward Helix.

    Retired - Right Eyebrow's x2.

    Quite a few Tattoo's.
