Cheers Tikiman! Yes I too like knowing it is secure and it's very 'robust'. It is really comfortable as well although tbh I hardly ever know it is there. I think this kind of navel ring is okay for a man and more should be having their navels pierced!

Quite right Boo! No different at all .
The only piercings obviously considered unique are genitalia and even that is changing with modern surgical procedures.

    Shocked in a good way?
To me it's about what you as an individual want. I'm not personally going to be walking around on the beach in a pair of budgie smugglers displaying a pretty gem stone so you're quite safe .
It's not a popular male piercing but I really like it.

I freaking adore navel piercings on men. There's just something about them (trying not to sound too creepy here lol).
Nose studs look nice on men too. I had to tell the Gas man this when he called (and a tattooed sleeve too). Bet he thinks I am after him now lol... Glad your piercings are a bit better now Tikiman.

I quite like the idea of a nose piercing but am not sure whether nostril, septum or both. It takes me ages and sometimes years to make my mind up. Maybe one day

Ha...ha.... I'm sure the gas man loved all the attention

Lol! you remind me of a delivery driver I had for a long while who I saw every 3-4 weeks. He LOVED my tattoos and had loads himself, we'd get chatting everytime I was the one who took the parcel about tattoos and piercings lol!

The nip isn't any bother at all and the navel still has a little bit of inflammation around the entry an exit holes but no bumps or signs of migration other than the ring leaning slightly to the right. I'm happy with healing so far thanks H

Sorry really basic question here, what's the difference between a hoop and a ring, or are they the same?
