    Default Nose ring problem

Hi, I have got a 6 month old nostril piercing. When I had it pierced he put in a 8mm length 1.2mm gauge internally thread labret. I have recently changed it for another 8mm labret but what I find is that the little 2mm diamond lays flat to my nose sometimes but often the post is sticking out by about 2mm so I have to keep pushing it flat to my nose. Is there a way I can stop this happening or do I need to change the type of jewellery I am using. I like the labret as it canít fall out . Thanks.

I tried a 6mm but it only just shows on the outside so really hard to screw in the gem. Is there a better type of jewellery for a nose piercing?

Go to a local piercer and have them change it for you to a size you want. That's what I did for my labret jewelry in my nostril piercings.
Left ear: 4 Lobe piercings, Auricle, Helix, Conch, Double Forward Helix and Vertical Industrial
Right ear: 3 Lobe piercings, Auricle, Helix, Conch x2 and Forward helix
Facial: Left nostril, Right nostril Septum, Vertical labret and Philtrum
Want: 4th Lobe, 2nd Foreward Helix, Tragus and Anti-Tragus
Retired: Naval x2, Right Nostril, Anti-Tragus, and multiple lobe/Auricle piercings
Tattoos: None but I want some.

I suggest getting a 6mm threadless Neometal labret. Your piercer should be able to order one in for you or you can order them online from a couple of shops, usually US based though. Or you could go for a nostril screw but getting info of the rise (length) is often hard.
