Congrats hun and welcome to the septum club

Never expected it to be one I'd join tbh but I also kept seeing people with them and it just got me wanting one.

You'll get frustrated that you have to have it flipped up at work - i do. It means you can vary your look though.

    Happy healing
    Piercings:
Nose, navel, both nipples horizontally, Princess Diana, septum, tongue

    Tattoos:
Line of butterflies from lower belly round onto back and up to my shoulder, garter tatt on left thigh

Thanks for your supportive comments peeps, just eating my lunch which today is a chiken & mayo sarnie but i'm finding it difficult to breath through my nose whilst eating with my mouth shut ! Theres something I never thought of ! That will be down to the 12mm dia horseshoe which had larger balls, its bound to cause a restriction when flipped up I guess ?

Also when I carefully cleaned around the piercing this morning there was very little to see on the cotton buds, I have a good feeling about this one !

Same here. We'll see where it's going to lead!

These days I've been reading a lot about septum piercings and the more I think of it, the more it seems just perfect. Edgy enough, beautiful too, with a possibility of very different looks, together with the possibility of flipping it up. Sounds very tempting.
    A beginner really

Left ear: three lobes and tragus

    Day 2, Pm.

I have just realised that since I've had my septum pierced I haven't blown my nose ? This is pretty unusual for me as I normally blow my nose several times a day, could it be that subconsciously I'm afraid to do this anymore ? Perhaps things will get back to normal after I've flipped it down for the first time ?

    Hi Mr Mouse!

No, they totally can't be often seen here! Here you can mostly see a helix, tragus, nostril and a navel.

Recently I was in Budapest, and that was such a different experience. So many people had piercings, all kinds! It felt nice to be a part of such a welcoming environment and also to get inspired. <3

    Hi Daisie,

    That's very interesting !

I'm not sure how common they are here either, I hardly ever used to see one but recently I seem to have noticed more people with septum piercings ? Is that because I was thinking of getting mine so have become more observant ? Or do a lot of people wear them flipped up ?
