Thread: I need help!

    Default I need help!

Okay I have had this piercing for a few weeks now[30 days exactly]. I got it at the same time I got the one to the left of it. The one on the left of the lebret healed fine and is doing fine. However..

My lebret is giving me some serious trouble with this weird bump. The small white one hasn't even always been there. This has just started. I'm not eating harsh food, I'm not smoking or drinking or having oral sex. I am using a completely natural mouth wash with no peroxide or alcohol and I've been trying a salt water tea tree oil soak as well as the aspirin trick. I've seen my piercer 3 times now.
They changed the jewelry and everything. Any advice??? I'm really worried and am wondering if I should just take it out. I love my piercings and don't want to, but this is growing pretty badly. What's also weird is it doesn't always hurt?

It just looks like the tissue adjusting to having a piece of metal there all the time. What did your piercer say?

    Modifications: 5mm septum punch,
    coinslot ear cartilage removal
Cosmetic Modifications: Scar removal x4, semi permanent eyebrows, semi permanent eyeliner, lip dermal filler
Retired Piercings: 3 nipple, tongue, 4 philtrum, 4 eyebrow, 2 outer labia, VCH, 1 lobe, rook, nostril, 3 nape MDs, 2 wrist MDs, septum, 3 upper conch, conch, 5 helices
    Tattoos: 86 hours

Well the piercer said it looked like a keloid and told me to follow those things without specific instructions. However I had to stop the aspirin because it was eating a hole in my lip but I've kept up on the natural mouth wash, tooth paste and tea tree salt soak mixture.

It kind of looks like mine when I had my philtrum and then my Ashley piercings done initially. But yours is way larger. Not sure what they were but I just left them alone and they eventually went away. I just did my normal piercing care.
Left ear: 4 Lobe piercings, Auricle, Helix, Conch, Double Forward Helix and Vertical Industrial
Right ear: 3 Lobe piercings, Auricle, Helix, Conch x2 and Forward helix
Facial: Left nostril, Right nostril Septum, Vertical labret and Philtrum
Want: 4th Lobe, 2nd Foreward Helix, Tragus and Anti-Tragus
Retired: Naval x2, Right Nostril, Anti-Tragus, and multiple lobe/Auricle piercings
Tattoos: None but I want some.

Try leaving it alone, tea tree won't help, aspirin won't help as you found out. It's not a keloid. Find a better piercer, leave it alone, rinse with either 0% alcohol mouthwash or saline and maintain normal oral hygiene.
