    Default So, anti-eyebrow piercings...

I've recently fallen in love with this style of piercing, and I'm wanting to try it out, but I hear surface piercings will often migrate or be rejected by the body. My friend got one a while back, and it was pretty while it lasted, but it only lasted a couple weeks, and then my aunt has had her eyebrow ring (not anti eyebrow, but still a surface piercing, I think?) for like three years.

This makes me a little wary. I know it's dependent on the person individually, but assuming I take good care of it and follow the directions I'm given to the dot, just how great is the chance that I will lose it within a few weeks/months?

Am I looking at a 50/50 shot, or is there a good chance it can become a long-term piercing?

The likelihood of its longevity will be a contributing factor to whether or not I get one.

It can work out long term, just depends on a long list of factors really and no one can predict what will happen.

Your best chance is going to a good piercer who has done them often and who will use the correct jewellery.
