Default Septum advice if at possible please?

Hello! I have been reading that quite a few of you have had your Septum's pierced. Thank you for writing your diaries'. I was wondering would it be the worst thing to have pierced if you have got nasal problems? I have to use nasal spray right up into my nose (sorry, so basic) every 3 hours. Would this just this be a terrible piercing to have as in annoying it too much? My nasal problem is right inside my nose - nothing where the piercing is going to be. - I had to ask before even thinking about it.

Retired - Right Eyebrow but, re-pierced next to the retired one.

    Hi Mazzy

I've got my nose and septum pierced. I've had my nose done for about 9 years but only got my septum done a few months ago, so remember more about its healing.

I get hay fever, not bad, but I do sometimes use a nasal spray.

I just make sure that the nasal spray nozzle is clean and do make sure as best I can that i avoid getting spray on my septum. Depending on the spray you're using it could irritate your piercing a bit and slow the healing process but I wouldn't think you should let it prevent you getting your septum done.

    Good luck with it!

It shouldn't be an issue at all and if it is then you can just remove it.

Hello! Thank you for your replies and help/advice Miss Fi and Hazel. My normal nostril piercing was healed for years before I started using nasal sprays. It luckily doesn't bother it. I am just wary that constantly putting the spray up my nose could really annoy it and I didn't want that to happen. I don't think I will know until I have a go. One of the sprays is salt water so, may do it some good. I will have to just be careful that they sprays are clean - thank you for mentioning that Miss Fi and for wishing me luck. I love the fact you can hide this piercing.
