    Default Male Nipple Piercing

Planning to get one or both of my nipples pierced this week (haven’t made a final decision). I’ve read that it can take up to a year for them to fully heal. Any specific advice on aftercare? Also, how long would I need to stay away from the gym for?

    Many thanks

    Rob

Yup take a year sometimes. If you go to a good piercer then follow their aftercare. If not then you can find aftercare info on the APP and UKAPP websites.

Hi Hazel, I mainly do weights at the gym. I’m assuming that I should just go easy for a week or 2 and make sure that I shower immediately after finishing exercise to wash away any sweat, etc.?

I’ll be going to Extreme Needle in London (really impressed when I went there in Jan).

As long as you're not doing any clean/jerks then you should be fine. Extreme Needle should have good advice. My main advice is don't touch/move them, rinse in the shower, leave them alone.

Got them both pierced today. It was quite an intense sensation having it done! Raph at Extreme Needle was brilliant.

Thanks Fi. They’re not feeling too bad. Just trying to make sure that I don’t bang them. Planning to hit the gym today, but will keep it easy and see how I go.
