    2. Can I wear long sleeved jumpers with it, etc?
    3. How long with a small phrase take to heal?
    4. How can I sleep in bed with my new tattoo?

    Congrats!
Yes you can bath but avoid soaking it in the water and pat dry. Yes you can wear clothes over it, healing is completely dependent person to person, I heal really quickly but others don't.
Try to avoid laying on it/it getting rubbed etc.

    1. Yes but don't let the tattoo soak
    2. I'd avoid wearing any fabric over it when it's in it's early healing stages if possible
    3. Probably around a week for initial healing
    4. You may want to wrap it for the first few nights so it doesn't stick to your bed sheets/covers. Make sure to change all bedding the day you have it done also so everything is nice and clean.

    Thanks for the reply guys!
Also, what would I wrap my tattoo up with at night? Would clingfilm be okay?

I've never wrapped a tattoo, I take the wrapping off when I get home from the shop and never put another one on. Just my preference

Yup it's fine. Wrap before bed, take off as soon as you wake and clean it.

When you have a tattoo stick to your bedding and have to soak it wet through to remove it because it's literally welded to it you'll understand why. I can't imagine how messed up a tattoo would be if you ripped it off.

Then again I can only comment on 6-8 hour pieces. I had a tiny tattoo once and I don't think I wrapped it but it will do it no harm for the first night if it's producing a fair amount of plasma.

Thankfully that's never happened, I have a few large tattoos but not in awkward places for sleeping and I only usually do 3 hours at a time

That is definitely a whole other ball game!
Id manage that level of tattooing itself, but I don't think I could heal all that at once, it would drive me mad, I take my hat off to you hazel!

How many nights would you suggest I wrap it in clingfilm for? (I had it done on Wednesday evening - the 10th)
