    Question Opinions needed

So... maybe I should've posted this earlier but I kept forgetting til now...

Basically, I tried to use the good ole saline solution, but two weeks after I got my tfh done, I got, well, lazy and used my contact lens cleaner solution to clean the piercings.

I didn't get any redness or irritation, so I've been using it ever since for all my new piercings, basically.

And my recent piercer actually recommended the contact lens solution, saying 'if it's okay to go in your eyes, it can go anywhere'.

Is it safe to continue using the solution?

It's been a bit over 9 months since my tfh and it's still healing fine, (other than occasional, accidental hair tugs that irritate them), and my other piercings aren't red at all, so...?
    Current body mods:

0g lobes (first) + 16g second lobes on both and third lobe on right
    triple forward helix on right
    inner conch on my right
    tragus on left
‒ one cartilage on my left
    ‒ both nipples

iris flower on my right ribcage/belly area
lyric tattoo on my left ribcage
‒ Pisces sign with genderfluid colourations

    Getting it done

    Planned in the "near" future

    Planned in the "not-so-near" future

It's down to you really. Contact lens solution shouldn't really be used at all (there's preservatives etc in there that aren't suitable for healing piercings or wounds) plus it's just a waste of money anyway as saline is just as cheap or cheaper and is basically artificial tears. This is why you don't see people using contact lens cleaner to clean wounds, because it's to clean contact lenses..

Or you know, just rinse them in the shower.

Everyone has their own method of cleaning... just keep in mind contact lens solution is specific to contact lenses, it was never intended to be used on anything else despite it not causing irritation to your piercings.

I wouldn't use contact solution as its not that pure. I believe saline solution in an aerosol can is the best way
