I recently had my nipple pierced, and one of the exit holes is crooked. It is only about 1 mm off, but it makes the piercing noticeably diagonal. I am going to have the piercing redone, but I will be using the same location of 1 of the exit holes. The other exit hole will be ~1mm underneath the original exit hole. My question is, would I be able to keep the piercing open and pierce underneath the open hole? Or would this make the exit hole bigger in the long run? It would be nice to use 1 open hole so I don't have to pierce through both sides again, but I'm not sure if piercing directly underneath another open hole will cause the 2 holes to merge into a bigger hole. I am also not sure if the new hole will make the piercing heal diagonally if it is pierced while the old hole is still open. Is it better to just wait for it to close? Any advice is appreciated! Honestly my piercer sucks and I'm probably just going to do this myself because I can't afford to take it to a different shop, so any tips are also appreciated! *I have prior experience in piercing myself and wouldn't consider this otherwise!*
