Default Adapter to turn circular barbell into ring?

Does anyone know what this is called?

I had my daith pierced yesterday with a circular barbell, when I was in the shop I was shown an adapter which could be attached to a cluster of gems and then clipped on, I really liked it, but it was very expensive (the main costs was the gem cluster).

I've since decided I'd have preferred a CBR and would like to convert it with one of these, but I've no idea what it is called?

    thanks

Thanks - that's a good idea - it would be a lot cheaper

    Would it be secure?
