I have had a keloid on my nose for over a month and a half now. I have some tea tree oil and sea salt. Nothing is working. I got my nose pierced in March if that makes a difference. Please help!!

I'd bet at least a dollar it's not a keloid. Can we have a picture?
What is your cleaning routine? What brand/style/material were you pierced with?

If it has been diagnosed as a keloid and you are susceptible to them then you need to see a doctor and reconsider getting pierced in the future.

If not then click on the bump link in my sig.

Also stop using tea tree, it's too harsh. Chances are if you just leave it alone and it has high quality jewellery in it then it will settle soon.

Just a word of warning that skin diseases are very hard to diagnose and even doctors are not always sure what is a kieloid. If you are susceptible it's important to get it diagnosed by a proper dermatologist ASAP. My ex gf had them all over her body because she waited too long to get them diagnosed. Sorry, not to be a scare monger--wishing you quick healing!

Once I got a keloid it was a battle to get rid of them. I would use hot AF sea salt soak in it and it would go away but they always seemed to come back and I gave up and took it out

In the UK we have to go through a doctor first known as a GP (General Practitioner) they then refer you to the right person. This is why you'll see me and others say see a doctor as we can't just go and see a specialist.

Genuine keloids will not go away with soaks, they have to be removed by a specialist.
