Question Flat nipple. May I get a piercing?

    Hello everyone,

I wanted to get a nipple piercing for my birthday next friday, but I don't know if I can get it, because my nipples are really small and sometimes even flat.

If your piercer takes a look and can manipulate enough tissue, then it shouldn' be a problem. Depends on the pliability of the area, really. Good luck!

Course you can, there's no issue there at all. Make sure you go to an excellent piercer. Good luck!

One of my nipples was inverted and the other a little bit inverted and I'd always felt self conscious when meeting a new guy...

I got both of my nipples pierced and I've been really pleased with the result. Nobody would know how my nipples were before.

As Hazel says, just choose a good piercer.

    Enjoy
    Piercings:
Nose, navel, both nipples horizontally, VCH, septum. Retired - tongue

    Tattoos:
Line of butterflies from lower belly round onto back and up to my shoulder, garter tatt on left thigh.

Is that a curved barbell? Odd choice of jewellery by the piercer there, placement seems ok

I personally think it looks a little shallow, but that could be the markings throwing me off and the nipple not being erect.

I'll just leave this here about the curved barbell (it's not a never thing, but flat nipples are better done with straight ones):

    Current Piercings:
    Right Ear: 00g lobe (9mm), 14g daith
    Left Ear: 00g (9mm) lobe, 14g conch
Other: 18g right nostril, 14g/12g septum, 12g horizontal nipples

    Retired:
    R.I.P: navel

Yes, I think it would be better if he has done it deeper, but I hope it is ok. He said that we will meet next week to change the barbell for a shorter one and I will ask him for a straight one, is this ok?

It can be changed for a straight one, if he won't then it may be best to see another piercer who will and who can assess the depth for you. It does look a bit shallow but as Roz said I thought it was the marker. Did they use clamps? Ideally a nipple piercing on a nipple like yours should be done freehand to get the depth just right.
