So I could have it pierced deeper, by like 1mm, 2mm at the most. Not worth it! So now I can stop fretting about the depth and be happy with it. The counter girl at OLR even complimented my jewellery and said it matched my hair and I forgot to say thanks and just carried on babbling cause I was nervous. Yup. *facepalm* That's how socially awkward I am.

If I want a look of more depth I can get a bigger ring in 12mm which I'm considering anyway once healed. The bumps are going down though he said and I'm so happy cause I was really getting frustrated and I hope they don't come back cause they suck. I think I was sleeping on it occasionally but now I'm very aware and don't sleep on that side.
    Current Piercings:
    Right Ear: 00g lobe (9mm), 14g daith
    Left Ear: 00g (9mm) lobe, 14g conch
Other: 18g right nostril, 14g/12g septum, 12g horizontal nipples

    Retired:
    R.I.P: navel

I've had this piercing just over 5 months now. Time really does fly by!

The bumps are pretty much non-existent now. I can see them a teeny tiny bit in photos, but nothing too major. I've actually not been doing many compresses so I might get back on it and hope they go completely. It's still crusting quite a bit but it's not bugging me as much as it did. I actually think this piercing was giving me migraines (or at least extreme headaches) for the first few months! Hopefully it won't be too much trouble from here on out. Fingers crossed!

Aww thank you so much, I didn't see this comment until now.

I still get crusties often, but it doesn't hurt much anymore, if at all. It can be hard to tell as I have issues with this ear in general due to, I believe, compacted wax, that I can't get removed and doctors just tell me to use ear drops. It throbs and get sore but it did this before the piercing.

I got mine done 4 days ago and I was so nervous about the pain, when she put the needle though it didn't hurt as bad as I thought but popping the jewelry in hurt so bad. I'm not sure if it's normal but my jaw and temple hurt on that side all day after getting it done. The daith looks great on you!

Thank you both. This ear is just the same as last time. Gets crusty and I clean it in the shower. I may still have a small bump at the bottom I need to compress at some point, I'll be keeping an eye on it.

As for little ears. My ears are extremely small (which makes me sad, I'd like average sized ears so I can get more piercings!). I think it'll be fine.
