    Default Tragus and Conch

Not posted here in a long time!

It had been over a year since I last got a piercing and a few months ago the ball on my rook fell off (and I learnt the hard way that the piercer near by is not good, thankfully there was no damage!) so I couldn't save it. I will get my rook repierced if possible, forgot to ask while I was there.

Anyways! I ventured off to Huddersfield on Friday to see Liz, she asked what I wanted and I signed out the form. She tied her hair up and got everything ready, then wiped my ear, measured up my conch as I said I'd like a ring in it while healed, and then marked it up. I was happy with it so she did my conch first. I'd give it a 1/10, really was nothing and have barely felt it since, even after accidentally knocking it a few times while moving my hair away from it. Then she got my to lie down for my tragus. I'd give this a 7/8, wasn't pleasant but again hasn't been too bad. Hurt to smile for a while, but has generally just been fine. So Liz told me how to look after them as well as give me a little slip with the information on, I paid and then off I went.

Cleaned them once the day after, but have just been leaving them completely alone and just gently rinsing them in the shower and they've been great. When they start getting crusty and swell then I'll see if SSS calms them down.

And here's a picture of them today (forgot how hard it is to take a picture of your own ear):

Was a nice present to myself after a crappy time

    Thank you

I forgot to mention, I've been getting a headache every day in that side of my head, but I assume it has nothing to do with the piercing and is just a tension headache. If it keeps coming back then I'll go to the doctors.

And I'd like to start swimming so I'm going to wait a few weeks/whenever they feel ok to start.

    Thank you both!

Nothing to say really, still leaving them alone and I forget they're there. Not hurting and just seeming happy for the mo.
