Mivement produces swelling and sweilling delays healing and promotes abnormal production of scar tissue.
In my oppinion you should move it the least possible. Just to keep it clean.
Im kinda new to getting pierced but I've read the piercing bible which says (plz people feel free to correct this if Im wrong) you should do Sea Salt Soaks and remove crusts and discharge appearing on the sides.

    Hope my oppinion helped.

No I only moved mine when it was embedded. But that was to keep it from closing up because I refused to get rid of it.

My rook kept getting stuck inside the flap of my ear, I had to move it constantly so it didn't heal incorrectly. It acts up quite often, is it because of how much I moved it 😦

I guess that's why my cartilage piercing never healed. I got mine done at Claire's and they told me to move it around and to keep the ring in for 12 months. It started hurting, so I took the ring out and it swelled up.
