    Default Tongue Web

    Hey guys,
I am considering a tongue web piercing - it looks pretty cute and discrete.

How are the healing times for this? Will there be any kind of swelling to account for?

In the case of a barbell jewellery, does the balls come off easily for this placement? (last thing i want is for the balls to unscrew and swallow it by mistake!)

Will I be able to drink alcohol within the first week?

    Thanks!

current - 4x lobes, standard navel & inverse navel
Ink - lotus flower & hand of fatima on upper back, unalome behind left ear, live in the moment script inner right arm, bauhinia flower dotwork on right wrist, capricorn & snake zodiac signs on left wrist, patience is beautiful in arabic on left inner elbow, wanderlust on right side feet, what goes around comes back around back of right thigh, tibetan script on left ribs

Healing time is around 6 weeks - 2 months. There will be swelling, but it shouldn't be unbearable.

The balls won't fall off easily if they're tightened properly.

It's recommended to avoid alcohol and smoking while you have a healing oral piercing. They can slow down the healing process.

Toofwess covered most of it, it might be worth buying some small fine inter dental brushes to keep plaque off the jewellery too so it's always shiny

Are dentists bothered by oral piercings? I know it's none of their business, just wondering. Do they ever ask for them to be taken out for appointments etc.?
