Default Registration for Voting in UK

Apparently today is "National Voter Registration Day":

I just wonder how many people will actually vote in the GE in May? If you don't know which party is closest to your views, this site: http://voteforpolicies.org.uk/ is quite revealing.

Good that you plan to vote - it always seems a shame when people don't vote.

this link convinced one of my housemates to vote who was previously anti-politics

also confirmed as to who I'm voting for (a certain teacher at college wouldn't let me vote for anyone else :P) but I'm not sure if I'm registered/where I'm registered to. Ugh. Hate being a student sometimes.
You sort of start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve.

Interesting link! I'm currently undecided as to who I'll vote for, but it's probably Labour or the Green Party. Greens came out highest for me on that link.
