    Hello Everyone!!

So i frequent this forum a lot as I have several piercings and tattoos but never really bothered to register until today! I recently (2 months ago) got a conch piercing and I've just noticed that in the last few days it's been bleeding. It's not hot to the touch, swollen, not oozy other than the blood, doesn't hurt at all, no normal signs of infection which i'm used to as i'm allergic to most metals. I clean it only once a day as I tend to over clean if I don't limit myself This morning when I cleaned it I noticed crusty bloody but after cleaning it it started bleeding again. I don't remember bumping it on anything...this has happened twice now in the last week and a half...is it normal? I mean I know I could have done anything while sleeping it's just hard to tell and it's only on the back side of the piercing....any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Go to a good piercer to get it changed to a barbell/labret. Rings will move a lot, pulling crusties through the fistula and delay healing.

I may do that....will it hurt it if I don't? Or will it just simply take longer to heal if I leave the hoop in?

Healing with a ring generally can take longer due to the constant movement. Some people are fine with rings, others aren't, I'd say most find healing with a bar much more straightforward.

I have a nipple piercing question. Left one was pierced Oct 21, have had no issues with it. Want the right one done but have two concerns: first, I'm trying to wait as I had my conch pierced end of sept and vch Nov 5 so trying to stay at 3 or less in 3 months. But, I have a vacation planned Jan 17 and don't want to get it done too close to when I leave in case it causes problems. Can I get my right nipple pierced around Dec 15-18 or am I better waiting til I get back?
Current: Left ear: 2x lobes, tragus. Right ear: 2x lobes, rook, inner conch, outer conch. Other: L nare, navel, L & R nipples, VCH, septum
    Retired: R nipple, L eyebrow

Wish list: L forward helix, Monroe or labret
    Tattoos: 8 - 15 hours worth

I think you would be fine to get it done, the 3 in 3 is more of a guideline and nipples are well behaved, plus your conch was in September which would make it almost 4 months. Only thing to keep in kind with your vacation is you don't want to swim with a fresh nipple for a good 4-6 weeks... So if its a tropical getaway or there's a pool involved that's something to keep in mind.

Current: 4x lobes, left industrial, right helix, right nostril, left conch, 2x diagonal(ish) nipples, right daith, left surface tragus

    Tats: 3 hours, 2 pieces

Anatomy depending, would having double tongue piercings (aligned coronally) angled towards the centre of the mouth help prevent tooth damage?
