Hi there. 7 months ago I got my forward helix and rook pierced at the same time on the same ear with a needle where j got my other piercings from. My rook has healed beautifully as do my other piercings but my forward helix has had a small bump on it for as long as I can remember. The small bump just does not seem to go away, I've tried the spray, SSS, tea tree oil and even this cream a friend recommended because she said it healed her bump in 2 days. I know I'm not sleeping on it as I've a habit for sleeping on the other side and I never touch it or let my hair get tangled in it. Like I try so hard to keep it from being pulled or nudged or touched and I'm so sick of it not healing. I'm pretty sure it hasn't migrated and the bump is small and flat and looks displeasing. My piercer keeps telling me it'll heal I just need to keep spraying it and my doctor was freaked out by my piercings and she couldn't really help. Please help me. Thank you <3

Assuming you've got top quality jewellery in it -Have you tried just leaving it alone other than a quick rinse in the shower each day?

Hi dragonsoup. No I haven't tried leaving it alone, I heard that you shouldn't because it will delay the healing process for over years. Do you think I should just leave it? Could it be my body is merely just rejecting the piercing?

What you hear is wrong. As before, do you have high quality, implant grade jewellery in there? Is the jewellery well fitting? Is the piercing correctly placed etc?

Not on a healing piercing or a bump that's sore or irritated.

You can if you want to but there's a chance that they will cause irritation anyway. TTO shouldn't be put on the skin in an undiluted state anyway and the aspirin thing is just an attempt to burn off skin which can cause irritation and scarring in the long run.
