Got it changed to a silver bar. Kinda sad :( the balls are huge and I tried to unscrew them but I can't and now it's crank (hence the redness) I'm going t go back to the shop in a few weeks (once it's calmed back down and everything is feeling okay) and get smaller 3mm balls put on

Hey hazel, nah no throbbing or heat or fever or anything. It's settling down nicely, still a little swollen but overall good. Don't even notice now. Yay thank goodness! And yes it's a titanium barbel! Always titanium!

So my top bump is totally gone!!

Now ow it's just the one on the bottom that needs to go! Rook is coming on 11 months old! Hopefully the bottom bump goes quick like the top!

There's fluff on the bottom in the first pic you posted today - are you using q-tips/cotton buds, cotton wool?

Looking much better though you could probably go to just rinsing it in the shower now.

By the way, I LOVE your helix placement, it's so perfect
what's a few seconds of pain for a lifetime of shiny?

    Both lobes 1/2", 5mm, 1.6mm
Left rook & 5mm helix punch
Right helix x2 & forward helix

Awh thanks it was the easiest and best piercing! Well healed now! Probably been 3-4 years
I pretty much do only rinse in the shower now! Unless either of my rook or Tragus piercings are feeling cranky! Then I might do a camomile soak but hardly ever! Usually I softly run a que tip over it after the shower! Because after washing it in the shower the water sits in the corner of my ear and tickles!!!!! Hahaha. But I'll tak that on board I do find quite a bit of Crustie stuff is secreted by the area of the lower hypertrophic scar though which makes me think it's got a long way to go! Considering its coming on 11 months!
