So the little bump in the picture that you can just see is still there and according to my boyfriend is kinda brown in colour which is new however my piercing doesn't feel annoyed or itchy really. Should I salt soak it to just check there no kind of build up? It seems so odd that there's a bump it doesn't feel at all like my previous piercings that have had bumps. I will try and upload an up lose photo later

    I'm confuZzled

Salt soak made a massive difference. Here's a before and after. Take note of bumps in the top one!

So! Last few weeks have been rough. I got an infection so I had to go to the doctors and get antibiotics. The infection cleared up but because I was cleaning quite a lot to help rid my ear of infection it got angry :( I was only using salt, with the specified measurements on this site. I have chilled back on cleaning just washing in the shower with warm water and now this! Blood and a big dirty lump! :( what's gone wrong ? What am I doing wrong? It's been two months and everything was great and now it's all going down hill

Two months is still very young, it will get lumps like that, particularly if you have had an infection, as lumps are granulation of white blood cells. I usually use the leaving it alone method when I get a lump, and it does eventually go away. They do take a while though. There are threads on here about how to treat a lump and I'm sure someone else will comment with a practical method of treating it. Just don't play with it too much and keep it clean in the shower and don't panic

As above you're messing with it too much and tbh I've never been keen on the jewellery you have in there either, looks like it could be putting pressure on but I'm no expert so could be wrong. Rinse it in the shower, let it air dry and leave it be. It will take months on end to settle fully.
