I did state why and how, sorry you didn't see that bit. As in for me, personally, the people around me and the opinions I see, experience, am told, see and have myself. This is how people come to conclusions, as in they have their own experiences...this is why and how I came to my conclusion that some of the opinions you deem to be unpopular aren't that unpopular in my life and the people around me and those I connect with online.

Can't really put it any simpler than that.

Mmkay, my unpopular opinion today; I do not care in any way, shape or form that Kate Middleton is in labour. I don't care about a new royal baby. I don't care about the royals in general.

That's the most complexified and subjective thing you could have possibly said though.

I was asking for specific examples, not how you yourself have found your opinions. I don't even see who that's relevant.

You should also consider taking a university level english course if you plan on making another 12k posts as both the largest moderator and poster.

    I'm gonna second that!

My unpopular opinion today is that I think our cultural values have gone a bit too far over to idealism, and we're slowly losing sight of what is true. I believe in equal rights, it's the most important fundamental belief that a democracy should embrace: however, I believe the idea of 'equality' sometimes gets taken too literally and some parts of public policy become like nannying or babysitting people who are considered to be vulnerable or in a minority, rather than encouraging the acceptance of both our limitations and strengths, and our individuality and differences. It worries me, for example, that we can be prosecuted for expressing an opinion critical of a religious dogma on the internet, because we have become very consumed by the idea that causing offence in any way is wrong. Where has freedom of expression gone? Why do we feel so guilty about having an opinion?

That isn't unpopular as an opinion with me: the only thing I care about the royals is that so much time and effort is wasted on them.

The only thing I'm interested in with regards to the royal baby is what they name him/her! I dunno, I just get really interested in what people name their children lol.
