What bugs me about this is the fact that everyone's phone was on the table.
Why, in case the conversation around you is so dull that you need to phone/text someone else? Is it a status thing, like hey look at my phone it's awesome and better than yours?
I see people out to dinner or just generally out somewhere (couples or small groups) and at least one of them is always talking/texting/whatever on a mobile phone. How effing rude, especially out on a date!! Put it away and talk to the person/people you're actually WITH.

Oh God yes. I will forever hate the 'mine's better than yours' outlook. Besides which its not hard. Then again i'm rarely texting/phoning people, so i'm slightly weird for my age haha.
Current: Double nostrils, philtrum, nipple. Various cartilage, 9/16'' lobes.
Retired: Nipple, navel x4, wrist, nape, MD, tongue web x2, lower lip piercings x4, nostril, helix, lobe piercings, septum, cheek piercings.
    4 tattoos.

What is my life for and what am I going to do with it? I don't know and I'm afraid. I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want.

I just don't get the whole phone thing full stop, it's a phone, I don't care who made it, why you have it, what it does, if it's the latest thing, if you like it, hate it, want to marry it.

Some people take the piss out of me saying I'm some kind of Apple fangirl because I have an iPhone 4. Erm I pay 9 a month because I hardly use the thing which incidentally was given to me for free by my bf....I'd have taken the phone if it wasn't apple, it was FREE!!! I'd never bloody pay for one or pay much more on contract than I am now, it's ludicrous!

Paying 30-odd a month for a phone just seems crackers to me!!

I've just upgraded to an iPhone 4 after having had an iPhone 3G for nearly four years, and I abused that poor phone, dropped it, threw it, sat on it, never updated it, spilt wine over it, but it never, ever had a problem. Never. I dropped it in a full sink last week, popped it in some rice but then realised O2 had told me I was welcome to a free upgrade. Thinking my old phone must finally be dead this time, I took the shiny new one. But it is not dead. It STILL works. What a little legend :')

Haha that's cool and tbh I actually do really like it as a phone, but then I don't have much to compare it to! It does what I want it to

I know haha! I'm the same, I know I don't exploit all the features of the phone, but it's reliable and easy to navigate.... enough for me!

Most important feature in any phone/gadget

I love my phone. Battery lasts ages, it makes & receives calls & texts, can't phone people from my pocket, I can use it with gloves on, and it has a really good alarm clock.
    That's all I need.
what's a few seconds of pain for a lifetime of shiny?

    Both lobes 1/2", 5mm, 1.6mm
Left rook & 5mm helix punch
Right helix x2 & forward helix
    VCH, 5mm tongue

Ive never got on with Apple products, i have so many issue with my ipod that Im not going to jump on the iphone bandwagon ever.
My friend came with me when i went to get my newest phone in October and was like 'i cant believe i just watched you not get an iphone' Yeah they may be 'cool' but i dont like apple products. Id rather have something else

However i am picky about phones. As long as it makes calls, has a decent camera and internet (i use whatsapp far more than i text) then im happy Currently got an LG 4X HD. Does everything i need it to, battery is pretty poor but i do use it alot

Have i gone mad? Im afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But i'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.

Couldn't care less about expensive phones, mine cost 25 from tescos several years ago and it works just fine. It makes calls and sends texts therefore I am happy with it.

Same here I fail to see what is so scary about them (Michael is awful for it, I just laugh at him then save the spidey!).
