    Default Re-piercing.

Hello all, just wondering if anyone has any advice about re-piercing old healed lip piercings?

I had spiderbites for years and eventually took them out to get different piercings for a change of scenery, and now 3 years later, I'm thinking I would like them back. Obviously in that time they've healed over and I'm just left with the little dot scars. My question being, is there a longer healing time when re-piercing old lip piercings because of the scar tissue? Alternatively I was thinking about just getting the other side pierced but I don't know if it would look loppy because you can still see the two old scars.

any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Depends if there is any scar tissue and how much but no it shouldn't really have much effect on healing times.
