Default Please help, desperately trying to get my lip piercing out

    Hi,

I've a job interview tomorrow and I don't think they will take too kindly to my facial piercings. :(

I've managed to get them all out except for my lip piercing. It's a bar with a flat bit on the back and obviously a ball on the front. I've tried and tried for days but it won't budge and it's really sore now :( I can't get to a professional place in time for the interview, I went to one yesterday and she "loosened" it (yeah right) and said "twist it towards your left nipple" but I can't get a grip on it, tried using rubber gloves and pliers and everything

I'm desperate, I really need this job.

Please has anyone got any tips.

    Thank you

I've tried absolutely everything I can think of, the whole piece of jewellery just twists and doesn't budge. I really don't know what to do

Maybe you could just explain that you wouldn't normally have it in and that you would take it out if you were to get the job? I don't see there's anything else you can do if you can't get to a shop.

Can you get to a piercer who can remove it for you on the way to the interview?

I've heard dunking the piercing in ice cold water for a while can help,.. not sure if there's any truth to this as *touches wood* I haven't experienced a ball getting stuck yet.

As an after thought is there anyway you could cover the end in concealer if you can't remove it? Idk how big the ball it, but I did that before a flesh coloured bioplast one I ordered arrived. Wasn't an amazing job but made it much less noticeable.

Hold the back with one hand, get a bit of paper towel/kitchen towel and twist the front to the left, anticlockwise. If that doesn't work then its likely the ball is cross threaded, so you will need a piercer to get it out

    Now
    : 11mm lobes. 6mm septum.
    helix. tongue. rook. 5mm conch punches L & R.
    central labret. industrial. double nostrils.
    philtrum. tattoos.

    Retired: snakebites. nostril x 2. 2nd & 3rd lobes.
    helix. outer conch. nipple.

    Next: tattoos.
