Can't believe how much Dave has changed in 10 months!

This was him just over 2 months old:

About a week ago in a bow tie:

And him being all stretchy and long with Luna ignoring him:

    Piercings:

2 sets of lobes at 1.2 and 1 set of 2.4mm on both ears

right ear: + 1 Helix at 1.2mm, Conch

left ear: + 2x Helix and Daith

    nose

Planned: Some more ear stuff and hopefully a microdermal or two once I know where I want to put them!

    Interesting debate.

I have an indoor cat. We live in a large but top floor flat next to a busy main road. He has FIV (the feline version of HIV), so it is recommended that for his health and the health of the local cat population he is kept indoors.
Cruel? I don't think so. Not in his circumstances. Interestingly, having adopted him nearly a year ago he has not once shown the slightest interest in getting outside!

However, we probably would not have adopted a 'healthy' cat and kept them inside.

If we ever move to somewhere with outside space we would certainly consider cat-proofing the garden or building a pen so he has access to the outside.

Also, we do not flea him. We were advised by our vet that it would not be worth it. And so far that advice has proved to be correct. Both our parents have cats who we have regular contact with and there has not been any flea transfer yet. He only gets wormed every 6 months.

I love that first picture, and Dave in his bow tie is so cute .Can't believe how fast they change though, Tig still acts like a kitten but she's desceptively heavy and looks more grown up now, kinda sad.
Current: Double nostrils, philtrum, nipple. Various cartilage, 9/16'' lobes.
Retired: Nipple, navel x4, wrist, nape, MD, tongue web x2, lower lip piercings x4, nostril, helix, lobe piercings, septum, cheek piercings.
    4 tattoos.

What is my life for and what am I going to do with it? I don't know and I'm afraid. I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want.

I've always had outdoor cats, but it happens that the two cat breeds I wish to own in future do better as indoor cats and in fact are at risk if let outdoors.

I'm not sure to be honest, his mum wasn't any kind of pedigree and he has very faint silver tabbyish lines in his fur so I think he's just a pretty domestic short hair :3

Haha No, although I like ragdolls. They are a sphynx (I have seriously wanted a sphynx or rex cat since I was wee) and the second is a munchkin fold.
I've always had cats and plan to have cats for my entire life, and these are the two that for some reason I am really drawn to. I am sure that every other cat that I will share my life with will probably be kind souls from cat rescues though.
