Thread: Piercings that you want but aren't anatomically suitable for

Default Piercings that you want but aren't anatomically suitable for

    Just a little bit curious
What piercings can't you have because your body isn't fit for it?

Piercings that I can't have because of my anatomy include:
Microdermal right under my collarbone (or anywhere on my sternum for that matter) because I'm somewhat bony up there, right industrial because the helix isn't big enough (I was able to get my left though, my ears are entirely different from one another), and possibly a bridge piercing because there might not be enough tissue.
    It's a frustrating feeling...

I've always wanted industrials in both ears, but not only do I have 2 completely different ears just like Bluehope, neither one has enough of a helix to support an industrial. Boo-urns.

    A triangle - I'm not symmetrical!

Tongue - Probably possible but it won't sit as far back as I'd want it to as I'm tongue tied!

I've 2 completely different ears too!

It's nice to see so many other people with irregular ears I always felt like a freak, I'm glad to know it's not so uncommon.

Snug :( I really wanted one for like two years but came to the conclusion that my ear wouldn't suit it. I'm kinda grateful though, because I know they're stubborn healers and with my luck it wouldn't last.

I've been told I can't have an inverse navel, although from the pictures I've seen, quite a few people have similar tummies to mine and got it done no problem. Saying that, the same place also said I was unsuitable for tongue and septum piercings, but I was able to have both done no problem (at different studios). I'd also like a tongue web, I've never got a professional opinion on it but when I've looked myself there just doesn't seem to be enough web to pierce.

Yeah that and I'm too big/flabby/loose skin etc, all of it goes against me but even when I was a sz 10/12 pre baby/weight gain/loss it folded right across my tum so I knew it would never have worked. :(
