They look so beautiful, I'd consider their permanence a good thing

    I have:
    Stretched lobes at 20(ish)mm
    6x 1.6mm lobe piercings
    9x Helix piercings
    2x Conch piercings
    6x Labret piercings
    1x Medusa piercing
    5mm tongue piercing
    2x nostril piercings
    10mm septum piercing
    Bridge piercing
    2x anti-eyebrow piercings
    2x eyebrow piercings
    2x cheek piercings
    Nape piercing
    Navel piercing
Heart shaped brand on left foot
4 tattoos (and quite a few stick and pokes)

    I want:
    More tattoos!

    Retired:
    Tongue web
    Third eye microdermal
    2x nipple piercings
    2x hip surface piercings

I had one on my wrist that was fine until one day I was putting my hair up, the hairtie got snagged under the disk and it got ripped out :( it was $75 at Cosmetics Plus.

Well pain is a very subjective thing, what one person might find extremely uncomfortable might not phase another. I have 2 MDs and I didn't think they were that bad, not the least painful of everything I've had done but I'd get them again. I had mine done with a dermal punch which was a sharp sensation but nothing particularly awful, the insertion of the MD I'd say hurt more but that's just my opinion.

I think it's really unprofessional for piercers to 'numb', I've never had a piercing done with any sort of numbing cream or spray. If you go to a good piercer experienced in MDs the whole thing is over in less than 30 seconds. The 'freeze' sprays can actually do more harm than good in the long term (could potentially cause frostbite and on all accounts the intense coldness hurts too!) and usually it only numbs the surface of the skin whereas any piercing would go deeper in the tissues anyway. I think if you want any piercing badly enough you'll forget about any potential pain and wanting it will come above finding someone that will numb. Obviously sticking a sharp object into your skin is going to hurt a little but if you relax it need not be a bad experience.
    4 x Lobes
    2 x MDs Lower Back
    Navel + Inverse Navel
    4 x Surface Hips
    3 x Left Inner Conch
    3x Left Outer Conch
    Right Rook
    2 x Right Conch
    Right Helix
    Septum
Orchid Tattoo Ribs + Disney Tattoo Thigh
