I have super sensitive teeth but for some reason was able to keep the ice just on my tongue and away from my teeth. It was hard the first day but I got better at it quickly. I drink quite a bit of coffee so I was sucking on a lot of ice. The trick is to suck on the ice with your tongue and not eat the ice. At least that's what worked for me. Believe me, I was afraid of the ice thing too.

Thanks for the tips! I use the Colgate rapid relief toothpaste so I should be alright anyway, it's only my fillings and bottom front teeth that are super sensitive, I've just got toe-curling images in my head of people chewing ice now D:

Homeopathy makes ....no sense at all. The weaker it is, the stronger it is. Not that anything really has anything it in anyway, if you saw the way they're made. 'A photocopier sort of thing' is a pretty accurate description

Best not to think about it too much. Far too confusing >.<

I never manage to do anything with ice. Ibuprofen ftw! Crushed ice is much easier than sucking big blocks though.

When I said ice, I should have clarified. I don't mean the ice cubes you make in the fridge, more like what you get from McDonalds and places like that. I get mine from our local coffee shop or fast food place. Crushed melts too fast but the small pieces you get from fast food places work great because they are flat.
