    Default Mixing SSS?

Can I mix the SS in purified water and keep it on the counter to pour when I need to use it? Or should it be in the fridge? Or should I make it up each time I need to use it? I assume I can microwave it for a few seconds, right, to bring it to a warm temp?

    Thanks,
    Carlin

From what I have read putting it in the fridge and heating it in a microwave will be fine but I've seen someone once say a no to microwaves. I don't see the big deal tbh but a pro may have a clearer answer.

Yeah, I was thinking of using a unopened bottle of spring water, adding the proper amount of SS and then leaving it on the counter. zi would make a new one up every 2-3 days. I can't see what it would harm, it would no go bad,. ANd there is NO way I am taking a nice icy cold bottol of SS water from the fridge and putting it on my ear, No WAY.

It shouldn't go off & it makes sense to make a bit more then you need!

I am just making my own now after using the saline in the easypiercing range. I followed the recipe that Hazel has posted before of 1/4 t sea salt in 1 cup of boiling water & then allowing to cool before use. I like making it in small quantities even though its more work! I will probably use the bought saline in the morning & then the made up one at night when I have a bit more time.

I think you'll be okay, I used to have a sealed bottle of saline (used for IVs, sterile, I drew it out with a needle and syringe) and pour a little in a cup and microwave. Stored at room temperature, it was fine, it doesn't spoil

You should be okay. I always have a bottle of saline on hand (partly for piercings, partly because its good for my eyes when my contacts get too irritating ) and it's never gone off.

Somehow Master Tielhard had kept the dramatic vigor of the archaic lines, yet infused them with a subtlety that spoke at once of the vine, the bond and the lash. The thorny lines were stark black, accented in only a few choice hollows with a teardrop of scarlet”

I have no access to warm water to mix my salt water with during the day so I just carry a bottle with me to rinse my tongue. I've used it on my nose through the day too. I don't see a big difference in warm verses room temp water. In my mouth I figure the water warms anyway.

Anyone have a good reason why it has to be heated water? I do heat it in the morning and just before bed, just not during the day. I'm paranoid about not keeping my tongue clean so I have to just use the room temp water.
