Yeah, Nick was totally the same he'd spoken about getting one for years and never gotten round to it and then his Grandpa got him and his brother ones as surprise presents at Christmas

Ooh that is nice, the new treeman models are pretty awesome looking. I just painted up a Doomwheel for my Skaven so I may as well show it off! The pictures are big and I have lots so I will show one and have the rest as links to keep the post reasonable size. Seems like the images are a bit blurry. I am bad at taking pictures :(

I made some pendants earlier today

I'd been looking for a similar style necklace for ages but couldn't find one I really like. I'm so excited that I get to make my own and they actually turned out nice! Just have to work up the courage to glue the glass to the metal now and hope it works okay.

EDIT: I'm not sure that it really counts as ''crafty'' given that I just painted the glass If I can get them stuck down okay I might try and grab some different trays to make different things as gifts for people e.g. earrings for my mum.

I think they look rather nice. What sort of glue will you use to attach the glass to the back?

    They're gorgeous!
Would make really nice necklace & earrings sets for gifts

I'm working on another toothbrush rug, coming to the end of the fabric I have for it. I was contemplating getting more fabric and continuing it into a big one but I've started it with one-inch strips so it would take forever ... not to mention cost quite a bit if I were to buy the fabric from "new".
Think I'll go back to my plan of raiding charity shops

They're gorgeous and I agree, they'd make great sets with earrings

I'm a girl with an arty brain but not particularly arty fingers! Currently I'm scrabooking, creating mixed media canvases (but am planning an actual sculpture), nail arting and colouring with my prismacolor pencils. I'd love to learn to knit and crochet, but I'm left handed and nobody can teach me. I'm also dying to learn to draw but I just can't pick it up.

ETA: I also sew for my various sized Asian Ball Jointed Dolls. From 20cm to 60cm.

I have, but I can't ask the video questions as I think of them! Although I do try. I just need someone to show me through step by step, but backwards.

Here is my attempt at making something vaguely craft-like:
    • The left side of the wing:
    • The right hand side:

Apologies for the awful photos, but it was a challenge to get the whole thing in one shot. Now I've just got to finish the fuselage and tail!
