Thread: Septum closing?

  1. #1

    Default Septum closing?

So I'm going to get my nose pierced (nostril) in the next few days, but I also have my septum pierced. I just always keep the ring flipped inside because no one in my family knows about it. I'm just afraid that when I go and get my nose pierced, that the piercer is gonna say something about it.

I may take it out just to be safe, but I don't know if it'll close up in those few minutes. It's only been pierced for 1 month and 10 days exactly. Will it seal up.?

When it's that old, it will probably close pretty quickly. That and since it's so new, it's probably not a good idea to be poking around taking jewellery in and out anyway.

Nobody has to come into the actual piercing room with you (apart from the piercer XD), even if you're young your parents just have to sign the form in reception. There's no real reason your piercer would mention it after the piercing, but you could still ask them not to mention it?

If you managed to get your septum pierced without a family member being there (seeing as none of them know?) then why does one have to be their for you to get your nostril pierced?

^ I keep wondering, she keeps disappearing xD
This thread is kinda confusing too, not the DIY piercing (I won't bash, maybe it was done okay) but why would it need to be a secret if she's getting a nostril one etc... oh well.

26mm both lobes, 6mm second lobes, 6mm left inner conch, 8mm septum, 2.4mm inner labia, 1.6mm nipples, 1.2mm nostril

Easy answer is if you are going somewhere to get the nostril piercing and you do need somone with you, just phone ahead and ask the piercer not to mention the septum piercing.
