Default Red bump like thing behind second lobe piercing?

So I have had my second lobe piercings done for about three months now and I changed them for the first time last night to silver earrings, though as I went to go clean them today I noticed a hard red pimple like thing behind one of them, this is a bad quality picture but it was the best I could get.

I cleaned it with some tea tree oil and Vitamin E... Help please?

For more information, the pimple like thing seems to have popped or something? As of today it looks more like a scab, my friends and people who can view it state that it looks like a scab now.
Though there is not blood or puss residue on my pillow...

Were they gunned? You need to get some proper jewellery in there as well, is probably irritating it, titanium labrets would be best.
