I had to take out my tongue web piercing, and only because I was getting molds of my teeth done, and my dentist asked me to take it out in case it got stuck in the molding paste.

Nope. But I make sure to wear non-metal. Just cause its a pain to change in front of everyone for x-rays, metal gets rather in the way. And my dentist likes taking x-rays(I think he gets extra moneys)

Typing is now stuck on italic? :/
Complete with a green straightjacket with circuit boards stuck all over!

Current: 1" lobes, 4g conches, septum, 6g helix, daithy- helix, helix industrial, bridge, 8g both nostrils, one lonely nipple and both cheeks, vert labret an a sternum micro. Forearm branding, calf cutting and a split tongue.
Retired: Nape, neck and chest micros, nipple, 4g tongue, eyebrow, snakebites. Several lobes, labrets and nostrils. Rook ):
    Next up: moar leg!

    Nope. Not even for x-rays.

My old dentist used to tut at it but got used to the fact that I was keeping it eventually. I do wear a plastic ball on the bottom cos it occasionally contacts my front bottom teeth.
what's a few seconds of pain for a lifetime of shiny?

    Both lobes 1/2", 5mm, 1.6mm
Left rook & 5mm helix punch
Right helix x2 & forward helix
    VCH, 5mm tongue

I don't. My dentist has never really commented on my tongue bar, but when I had my labret I remember he yanked my lip down to look on the inside and started telling me I might get gum erosion etc. (I didn't)
