    Default My New Conch

Week three pics in post 9

I've been planning to get my conch pierced for a little while now and last week I thought I'd built up enough courage to get it done but I let nerves get the better of me. I got my tragus pierced about 3-4 weeks ago and that wasn't a good experience so made me a little nervous to get my conch done.

I decided so I wouldn't chicken out I'd go to the piercing shop first thing so I didn't have a whole day of thinking should I or shouldn't I do it. When I go there I was still really nervous and was told it would be 45min+ wait because they hadn't turned the sterilizer on yet. So I went off and killed time when I got back I was happy to see my regular piercer was there which put me at ease.

It was all over in a matter of seconds and I didn't feel a thing. I was surprised that I didn't feel any pain. I did bleed A LOT it ran all down my face and shoulder and onto one of my fav tops All in all i had a great experience and I LOVE IT. I'm really glad I got it done. I had it done maybe 2hrs ago now and so far had no throbbing, Swelling or anything. Just hope I can get a good nights sleep because my tragus is still sore to sleep on and i've had my conch done on the opposite side.

Looks awesome! Hopefully this will be my next piercing but I have to wait a few months to heal what I've got going on now *so impatient*. Glad you had a good piercing experience too, despite the blood and happy healing, hope your new hole is kind to you!

Thank you I managed to sleep on it so really happy about that. Let's hope it heals without any problems (fingers crossed).

So far the healing has been fine I've had no swelling and I don't feel it at all. I've found cleaning it really easy also. You should get it done.. I love mine.

    Week Three

My conch is still doing really great it's healing like a dream I've had no problem sleeping on it. The past two days the bar has become really loose. I've managed to resist the temptation to play with it. My conch never swelled but it was pushed forward. I've noticed now it goes back and forth on it's own which means my hair sometimes gets wrapped around the back of it so I'm trying to make it stay forward until it's fully healed. The bar seems really long. It's still my Fave piercing and once this one is fully healed I'm considering getting another one just above or below it.
