    Default New septum & industrial!

    At last!
I went to pierce artist in Salford as I'd heard really good reviews off quite a few of my friends so I gave it a go.
They did my industrial first, and I have to say it was my most painful piercing ever, although I didn't feel the jewellry insertion, which I guess is okay, but still, I bled as well, my first ever piercing bleed :(

After that they moved on to my septum, warned me I was gunna tear up (I was thinking yeah okay, I don't tear up having my nose done.. twice) they were right though :')
Septum did hurt, but nowhere near as much as I expected, didn't bleed, just made my nose run.

It's been a couple of days since this now, and they seem to be healing okay, septum doesnt hurt as much, just twinges if I catch it on anything which I keep doing >_<
and my industrial aches every now and again, but they're good, SSS is my friend.

I'd suggest HTT over that dodgy pierce artist place any day but I'm glad you had a good experience, many on these boards haven't. I'm hoping they didn't let one of their "students" loose on you?

That aside they look nice and I hope they heal great for you!

Yeahh, although it was good it's definitely not worth the mooch to Salford when I'm 20 mins out of town and HTT
And yeah it was a supervised student >_<

Apart from that it was good though

Oh boy, well I hope they're okay for you, obviously I'm not a pro so can't comment on placement or anything but have seen/heard of SO many botched piercings from that place, it should be shut down imo. Jealous of your industrial none the less haha.

Septum's been a dream so far, not much pain and is generally behaving
Industrial's obviously sore and I keep sleeping on it >_< but it's not much more trouble than any other cartilage piercing

Sorry to double post but the aftercare advice at Pierce Artist leaves a lot to be desired.
I was told to clean my piercings once a day, no more otherwise it'd go "soggy". I am also only meant to use warm water to clean my piercings and afterwards put a 'healing lavender oil' on which I was given, I thought it was bad to use oils on healing piercings?
I'm obviously not stupid and I want my piercings to survive so I'm doing sea salt soaks, which are working and feel nice,

That sounds a bit ridiculous! "Healing lavender oil"?!? Put it in your bath, not anywhere near piercings! I'd just keep doing what you're doing now... Gord lord.
