I'd really minimise any hot soaking (or just cut it out entirely for now) as that will encourage bleeding. Are you knocking it on your sleep, or rolling onto that side? Get an extra pillow so your head is raised more, and try not to sleep on it - if you have long hair, put it into a bun or ponytail right up on the side of your head (the side the piercing is on, of course!) so you're less likely to roll onto that side in your sleep.

I just really don't like to leave the blood all over my ear because it looks nasty, especially when today is my first day at work and I've got blood down my neck and in my hair :/ ...I will try to leave the warm stuff til later though, and will try thehair technique thanks xx

Blood should wash/rinse off easily with cold water, just try not to disturb any scabbing round the actual piercing sites. Don't want to set it off again
what's a few seconds of pain for a lifetime of shiny?

    Both lobes 1/2", 5mm, 1.6mm
Left rook & 5mm helix punch
Right helix x2 & forward helix
    VCH, 5mm tongue

You can wash the blood off your neck and ear but just try and leave the actual piercing alone as much as you can...sometimes messing with piercings just makes them worse and more angry. Hope it heals up for you ^^

Oh bless. Hope it starts behaving soon. Just a question do you have a metal bar in there. If this continues you may want to consider wearing a bioplast bar as they are more flexible. Or failing that two separate bars may help x
