Septums!

I don't have a septum, but my nostril piercing smells pretty funky like ear cheese. Is that what septum funk is like when it's not smelling like food/vomit ?LOL

i dont have a nostril piercing, but from what others that have both have told me: yes its the same

As you all know i had my septum done a month and a bit ago. Well my retainer fell out the other day and was out for about 30 seconds and i put it back through quite quickly. When do you think would be a suitable amount of time to wait til i can change this silly retainer to a cbb?

it still in the healing process, the initial healing period is over with however.
if you felt comfortable reinserting that jewelry, then i would say youre totally fine to do so now
as long as you avoid externally threaded stuff as the fistula will still be very thin

buy some no flare glass eyelets!
i can no longer wear silicone in my septum, as the flares(even trimmed)will dig into my nostrils causing it to sore up and bleed.
currently im wearing no flare glass eyelets from GWS with a custom really short wearable surface. comfiest thing i can wear

and todays septum funk smells like some kind of food<3 i just cant figure out what though

Yeah i intend too, currently wearing a no flare metal eyelet and it is amazing!

Internally threaded jewellery is the best thing for it tbh

My tunnel fell out over the weekend when i was drinking...and i was bit too intoxicated to put it back in so had to leave it out from 9pm on Sunday to 11:30pm last night. And amazing it went back in with a bit of a massage

surprised it didnt shrink at all considering i had only went up to 8mm a few days before that.

That mustache is a trip! I had my septum done years ago and took it out due to not realizing it would close up so quickly. There's a good chunk of scar tissue there now, but i really want it again, do any of you have experience piercing back through old scar tissue?
