Have you seen a doctor or been diagnosed with anything? Could be tourettes. One of my friends has physical tics due to tourettes, and occasionally verbal ones. She used to take medication for it which helped a lot, so if you're worried/self-conscious because of it see your doctor, can't do any harm

I think it is tourettes, but I usually just call it a tic dissorder because I haven't been diagnosed yet. I went to see a doctor once and got referred to a paediatrician then a psychologist, and I went to both of those appointments and was referred to a psychiatrist, but I couldn't make the appointment and I never got another appointment. Maybe I could go to see a doctor again.

Jobs which involve food preparation, whether in a Michelin starred restaurant or in mcdonalds, which allow people to keep piercings in annoy me. I have piercings I know how easy it is to knock a pincher out or lose the end of a labret and I don't really want someone elses in my pastie/posh dinner.
Sometimes I feel like a bad pro-piercing person for feeling this.

I've only ever had one bit of jewellery fall out whilst in place and that was the end on my philtrum 13490385 years ago; I'd just had it done and she hadn't screwed it on tight enough
    32mm lobe (down from 50mm) : 10mm lobe : 8mm conch punch : 1.2mm Philtrum (down from 2mm) : 12mm oval labret (down from 18mm) : tongue split : scarification x2 : lots of ink :

I lose ends from bars like they're going out of fashion! Plus I know a lot of people change jewellery themselves and can't get it tight enough so it works its way loose over time.. I guess I must just have bad luck and know a fair few others who do as well!

I agree! It doesn't make you a bad pro piercing person at all. Sometimes piercings just aren't appropriate for health and safety reasons
