    Absolutely gutted.

Today was my managers last day at my store :(
The manager of the next closest store had been sha**ing their consultant and things were now awkward, so they were forced to switch places.

I've never got on with a manager as well as this guy. I really enjoyed working with him and genuinely care about him as a person,.. We could have a proper laugh over non-work related sh*t then he'd switch into proper manager mode when it was needed.

Only ever met the new lady we're getting once, but heard some horrible things about her. She's much much older, where the guy that has just left was only 4 years older than me and we had a fair amount in common - at least in comparison to everyone else I work with.

Just sucks that when everything's going well at work, the team's functioning brilliantly together, you have someone that's 150% behind your progression,.. it has the possibility of all going to sh*t.
We found out he was leaving a week ago and now morale is really low.

There's also the possibility the here-say will be tosh, and she will work out fine. But however it go's it's still going to be worse than it is now. Just fancied a bit of a waffle I suppose. My OH can't understand why I'm getting a bit meh over a manager change :\

I can kind of understand what you mean. I've had a few managers that I really get along with transfer to different casinos and me be left feeling like I have no one there supporting me. So I can almost relate to what you're saying.

Yeah, I even cried a lil bit last night heh. Bloody hormones ^_^
Turns out the 40+ year old Sunday lady did too, as did some of the downstairs floor staff - so I don't feel like such a wally. I thought I might be over-reacting a bit.

Thinking this strawberry cider tastes really odd. But when I remembered I just ate chilli doritos, that could well explain it. The two really don't go together!

I can totally understand being upset over it, we spend a lot of time in work and it's sad when someone we like leaves.

Also I had to edit your post, I don't mind the odd swear but several in 1 post is a bit much as we have young people reading.

I hate tennis. I'm terrible at tennis (I was the worst person at it in pe back in year 8..)

So explain why I've spent two hours screaming at the tv over Andy Murray :') - I get far too passionate over sport...
