I did that in Rome but it turned out I was on the bus going in the wrong direction. Oops. Ended up on the complete wrong side of the city before I noticed!

Aw Cynthia! I've seen that happen a fair few times with friends after nights out drinking lol!

So after bypassing the possible bus dramatics I've gotten home to realise I have no keys and Nick is in another city altogether. Oh dear. I are adult?

I had that happen on a train from southampton to penzance once. Instead of going via salisbury, it started going up to winchester, and then back down - it turned out major engineering work was going on the usual route. I still had a panicky twenty minutes or so!

so before my mum and dad came and rescued me I had a rather.. odd.. incident with a random bloke. He walked past me and asked if I was alright and I said yeah and he kept going. About 5/10 minutes later he came back and stopped next to me and asked me how old I was, so I replied 22 and he was like great great here take a can [a Scottish(?) colloquialism for beer] and I was like no no I don't drink and he said "I really just wanted to buy something for you, take one" thrusting his carrier bag at me and I was all "oh no I have work first thing in the morning. I just forgot my keys and I'm waiting on my mum coming to let me in!" and he was like "oh your mum. Ok." and walked off. Wtf?!

Won't be getting that kind of hospitality in Stockbridge (posh part of town) if we move there, haha!!!

It was so genuinely surreal I didn't even know how to react. SO glad my mum and dad arrived a few minutes after!

I must have been so tired. I only woke up 20 minutes ago.

IDIOT me left her laptop at uni. Which wouldn't be so bad, except mums working in London tonight and dad doesn't finish work until 9.

I'm so bored, I've watched everything I've recorded on Sky, I've had a bath and been reading Harry Potter all day but I really, really want to watch Netflix. Lesson learned :(
You sort of start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve.
