Default Micro dermals on face.. good stories and bad stories wanted

I love micro dermals and plan a few to go with tattoos in future.

What im really torn over is i would really love one on my face as a beauty spot, they look amazing!

Ive seen scars they can leave and thats fine but I'd like to hear more actualy personal experiences before I take the plunge

I have two Microdermals on my temple, I have had them for almost a year, never had a problem with them apart from the few standard days when they've flared up abit but that's just part of the course with MD's.

I think Microdermals and skin-divers last really well on the face where there isn't high movement the temple is one of the places.

All in all I have 3 vertical on one temple 2 mds and 1 skin diver and 2 horizontal temple skin divers on the otherside.

I would advise getting a dermal over getting dimple piercings, they settle much easier and are much kinder to your face in general.

Scars left by MD's tend to be small red circular blemishes so may look like a permanent pimple, just so you know! Though people heal differently and there are ways of reducing scarring after removal!

The scars from my cheeks MD's are hardly noticeable and people have to really look if Im showing them, if you are lucky to have a flawless complection then they will be more noticeable.

Well it might be better in the long run for you not have as the if you get any scarring from an md on your face it'll be easier to hide

I've had MDs on my temples for 4-5 years. They don't sit perfectly flush, but I don't catch them on stuff or anything. I will say that it was one of the most unpleasant piercing experiences of my life. The pain was about comparable to my medusa (so not as bad as my large gauge lobe piercings), but the sensation of the skin moving around as he inserted the feet made me feel very squicky indeed.
these make me cool rite guys??

2 central labrets, philtrum, 2 temple microdermals, 14mm lobes, 4mm upper lobe (right)

    retired: 2 temple surface piercings
