Default What do you keep your jewellery in?

I need to organise my jewellery better, it's kind of all over the place in little boxes and baggies.
I want it all in one (not too) big box or something with little compartments so I know what's what.

What are you using just now? Where'd you get it?

what's a few seconds of pain for a lifetime of shiny?

    Both lobes 1/2", 5mm, 1.6mm
Left rook & 5mm helix punch
Right helix x2 & forward helix
    VCH, 5mm tongue

Something along the lines of this, but from the Pound Shop.

This was my older one, it's bigger now, but similar kind of thing:

I really want a proper nice jewellery box but I've been looking for like 2 years and have yet to find one under like 100 that I really really love.

I'm using a tackle box (the fishingthing) I picked it up from a sports type shop thing, the compartments can be made bigger and smaller which is incredibly useful

You can't rollerskate in a buffalo herd.

1/2" lobes, 15 other holes, 2 hours of tattoo work.

It was this, which I think I got a Homebase? Somewhere like that, I used it for years.

But then a couple of weeks ago whilst tidying my sisters room out I found this:

Its a tad small, but I've been downsizing my collection recently, selling stuff I don't use, so its not so bad!

    Now
    : 11mm lobes. 6mm septum.
    helix. tongue. rook. 5mm conch punches L & R.
    central labret. industrial. double nostrils.
    philtrum. tattoos.

    Retired: snakebites. nostril x 2. 2nd & 3rd lobes.
    helix. outer conch. nipple.

    Next: tattoos.

    Tumblr. Facebook.

Ah, I so need to find a box with loads of compartments that I can fit all my stuff in-all mine's in lil baggies lying around the place, I feel so disorganised :/
Current: Double nostrils, philtrum, nipple. Various cartilage, 9/16'' lobes.
Retired: Nipple, navel x4, wrist, nape, MD, tongue web x2, lower lip piercings x4, nostril, helix, lobe piercings, septum, cheek piercings.
    4 tattoos.

What is my life for and what am I going to do with it? I don't know and I'm afraid. I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want.

    A Detolf cabinet from ikea.
With some clear letter..stand things the wrong way up as little shelves.
Its jewellery 'box' version 4. (and its arranged much nicer and grown a bit fuller since then)

I might buy a cufflink or valet box for my small gauge bits though. Much prettier than the drill-bit box they live in at the moment.

I found the 'post your collection' thread the other day. was thinking of reviving it...

A fishing tackle box. From a random little fishing shop, it was a fiver. Its awesomeeeee. I put my "normal" earrings in a beadmaking box I got from john lewis, its got loads of little compartments.

I prefer fishing boxes/bead boxes to jewellery boxes, because they can be accidentally knocked on the floor without everything going wheeee.
The gratuitous mod list: 4 x lobe (16g), 2x lobe (2g - goal size reached), 2x nipple, 3x navel, labret, 2x tragus, left nostril, tongue. No tattoos yet!
