I'm 38 and really hate how close I am to 40. I don't think there's no such thing as being too old for piercings though even though I have been told I am too old to get piercings.

I'm 22 and just recently got my tongue pierced (first piercing). I've never had my lobes done ever. People always ask me why as i'm a girl and "All girls have their ears pierced" supposedly. I just never took interest in having my ears done, I wanted to be the different one of the crowd I guess haha. Honestly I think you should stop getting piercings around about 60 or so. I saw a couple of old ladies in the mall in Florida once who had piercings galore all over their faces. That combined with all the wrinkles did not look very appealing.
